Professional Summary
Computer vision, computer graphics, and machine learning practitioner building AI systems that extract structure and meaning from complex visual data. Currently leading AI frameworks and data-processing systems for hyperspectral imaging at Cubert GmbH.
Experience
-
2025 - present Ulm, Germany (On-site)
Principal AI Architect
Cubert Hyperspectral (Cubert GmbH)
Focus on AI frameworks, agentic tools, and scalable data-processing systems for hyperspectral imaging and industrial computer vision. Bridge advanced sensor data with modern AI workflows, including modular processing pipelines, machine-learning integration, natural-language analysis of visual and spectral data, and production-oriented systems for real-world industrial applications.
-
2024 - 2025 Berlin, Germany (Remote)
Head of Artificial Intelligence
Sporttotal Technology GmbH
Developed AI-powered systems for fully automated sports broadcasting, immersive content generation, and advanced sports analytics. Work spanned real-time object detection and tracking on edge devices, human pose estimation, 3D body reconstruction, and identity tracking for sports productions. Additionally contributed to texture generation from sparse image samples using optimization techniques and diffusion-based inpainting, enabling high-fidelity 3D game reconstructions and interactive viewing experiences.
-
2023 - 2024 Berlin, Germany (Remote)
Principal Computer Vision Engineer
Sporttotal Technology GmbH
-
2021 - 2022 Munich, Germany
Staff Applied Research Scientist
Kaia Health Software GmbH
Kaia Health is a digital therapeutics company that leverages AI-powered computer vision to deliver real-time, personalized musculoskeletal care through a smartphone camera. Researched and developed core ML models for 3D human pose estimation, motion analysis, and real-time feedback generation, enabling accurate human body tracking and automated movement assessments without wearable sensors.
-
2018 - 2021 Tübingen, Germany
Research Engineer, Digital Humans in Motion
Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems
Perceiving Systems Department (Prof. Michael Black). Contributed to the development of foundational human body models and large-scale datasets that have significantly advanced the fields of 3D human reconstruction and motion analysis. Worked on SMPL-X (expressive human body model) and AMASS (dataset unifying marker-based motion capture with parametric body models for large-scale learning). Helped develop VPoser, a body pose prior for robust 2D-to-3D human lifting in SMPLify-X. Also contributed to GRAB (a generative model for human grasping) and SOMA (a framework for synthetic data generation for human-object interaction understanding).
-
2013 - 2015 Tehran, Iran
Software Engineer, ERP Development & Implementation
SuperPipe International Co.
Led a team of two engineers to implement an open-source ERP (Odoo) at SPI, on a Python / PostgreSQL / HTML+CSS stack. Worked closely with finance, HR, warehouse, and inventory teams to integrate their processes into the ERP, supervised by the operational processes department to ensure industry standards were adapted and integrated for the best implementation impact.
Education
-
2015 - 2017 Tübingen, Germany
-
2008 - 2012 Tabriz, Iran
BSc
Tabriz Azad University
Electrical Engineering, Electronics
